our Cultural Legacy fund campaign
You're invited! Join us for this free, star-studded event honoring ICCC founder C. Bernard Jackson, distinguished ICCC alumni, and other contributors to the ICCC legacy.
The program features performances by Barbara Morrison, Phylliss Bailey and Larry Manley, Rose Mallet, the Fernando Pullum Youth Jazz Orchestra, updates on the Cultural Legacy Project and the Leimert Park Village Theater Coalition; and announcement of ICCC Legacy Scholarship winners.
Hosts and presenters include Virginia Wing, Jeff Kolansinski, Tuesday Conner, L. Martina Young, Oscar Edwards, Dominic Taylor, Vusisizwe Azania, Steven Paul Leiva and ICCC board members James Bronson, James Burks, Ernest Dillihay, Carmen Hayward-Stetson, Rosamaria Marquez and chair Dr. Sandi Sheffey.
This program will serve as the kickoff for ICCC's Committee of One Thousand fundraising campaign for our Cultural Legacy Project,* with further details provided during the program. Committee co-chairs Ernie Hudson, Cecilia Peck, George Takei and Glynn Turman will be recognized for spearheading this important initiative.
We'll also share information about our developing partnership with the Beloved Community Initiative (BCI) at UCLA, and the C. Bernard Jackson Bridge Builders Awards that will be presented during BCI week at UCLA in April of 2022.
And the above is just a sample of the full program. We guarantee you'll be entertained, and trust you'll be motivated to join us in building upon the rich cultural legacy of ICCC. Thank you.
